Attending a meeting is one of the most effective ways to show your support for strong ocean protection. In the summer and fall of 2008, the Fish and Game Commission will hold hearings to receive public comments on marine protected areas for the North Central Coast.

To attend a Commission meeting, check the 2008 meeting schedule. Approximately two weeks before each meeting, an agenda will be added to the schedule.

You can either give comments on an agenda item (if appropriate) or participate in the general comment session. In either case, simply fill out a speaker card when you arrive.
